Cuisinary

Your mental cooking aid.

A recipe is a list of steps, but cooking happens in parallel: while the water heats up, the blender is already running. So Cuisinary draws a recipe as a metro map. Every pan is a line, every step a station, and where lines meet, one thing goes into another.

    albert_eat

    A recipe web component in Lit that fetched dishes from my Drupal. One week, four commits. The last one is called “wip”.

  2. March 2023

    Cuisinary: the ingredient picker

    Again, now in TypeScript. Tap what you have in the house, choose oven, stovetop or soup, and GPT-3.5 comes up with the dish. 43 commits in two months.

  3. October 2024

    Cuisinary: the metro map

    After eighteen quiet months, a different idea: the recipe as a network map, drawn with Two.js. The ingredient picker moved into a subfolder.

  4. February 2025

    Cuisinary, with Claude

    A CLAUDE.md added, the metro map refactored, dragging, colours, lines at 45°.

  5. Last commit: 19 March 2025, 22:28. Dormant ever since.
